I used to have the 629 Deluxe PPS with the 6 1/2” barrel if you count the comp at end of barrel, this is the one I shot at night and blinded myself for some time.........
I think my favorite in my collection is my 1921 vintage M&P .38. It’s got the smoothest action I’ve ever felt (outside of a slicked-up Python), it’s a stone tack driver with 158gr SWC’s, and just looks good to boot.
IMO Smith&Wesson revolvers are the finest ever made.
I have only two left which I believe are the finest made.
A Model 27 and a Model 36, I still have a Model 686 plus on my bucket list.
