Hitman Gun

Came across this funny looking pistol made by B&T the VP9, the ergonomics of it looks really funny and weird then I later looked up some reviews about it online and saw a review on it on youtube and it seems like it is a bad*** pistol used by hitmen, they say it is dead silent and it's accuracy is sick wanted to ask has anyone come across or used one before and how does it really shoot.

Im pretty sure it was meant for veterinarians to put down larger animals and then somebody on the interwebs decided it was for assassins. It IS quiet; but thats because its manually operated, sort of a modern day Welrod of WW2 days

Seems to be an updated version of the British Welrod pistol made during WW II. That one was a .32acp pistol designed to be extremely quite for clandestine use. Yes, that included assassinations.

This .
Think of it as a Historically lnspired Curiosity .

As as actual Spec Ops / Clandedtine quiet pistol , it was supersceeded by later WWll Supressed Hi Standards , and more recently by intregally supressed Rugers .

Yes its cool and yes I sorta want one but Im not sure where Id want one operationally. A suppressed conventional handgun (with a slide lock) would a better option, even a suppressed PPK would be better. Yes this is quiet; but its been my experience that people make noise when they get shot, even if its just falling down. Operationally I think Id prefer a suppressed AR in 300 Black Out or a suppressed Glock 30. The AR in 300 Black has more range and the Glock 30 (45acp) would by default be subsonic

My LGS has one of these. I’ve seriously considered it.
