Hopefully they get this kid some serious help.

He's not always going to be locked up, will be lucky if he gets more than probation, so some body better damn well try to get his head screwed on right or there will be a next time, perhaps more successful. Even if he gets committed the chances he will be in longer than a year or two are likely slight, there is just not room at the hotel any more.
 
Every time I see something like this, I thank God my daughter and SIL have their heads screwed on straight and are raising my grandchildren right. I realize no family is immune from something like this, and that it can happen in even the very best of households. But it is less likely when the kids are raised right.
 
Ok guys given the world we live in, not the world we wish we lived in. What's the best plan here for situation. Psychological help is obviously a poor option. He might see prison for a short time, that's it? Maybe he gets some mentors in his new boyfriends, maybe joins a new social club there like the Aryan Brotherhood. Yeah, that's probably all he needs some good wholesome mentorship.

Psychological help won’t change anything. If at 18 you’re okay with killing lots of innocent people you’re always going to be okay with it.
