Do you have cable TV, satellite, or a streaming package? If so, you are contributing to those high salaries. Regardless if you watch the sports or not...

Capitalism…..it’s a beautiful thing.
As for the game itself; I love it. Baseball takes me back to a simpler time and lots of special memories I shared with my old man. ️

I used to like baseball when I was younger but the game became so slow & the Pro's became so over paid so it faded away for me. Throw in the well known juicing scandals in baseball the last 50 yrs.

Much same with the NFL with the kneeling, 2 National Anthems, changing rules, prima-donna players & boring Super Bowl games.

We have local semi-pro/farm club & high school baseball that's much more entertaining and down-to-earth, as is Div. 2 college football but the NIL system is contaminating that sport also.

Since I don't watch MLB & the NFL so I'm not contributing to any overly-high salaries but you folks can have at it with your streaming etc.

If folks don't believe that MLB baseball players get paid overly high salaries for a pro sport not nearly as strenuous as football then keep pay a ton of $$ for tickets, etc. I'll stick to high school, semi-pro & American Legion games.

It's shame that a bunch of Italians beat a USA team.
