How to mount the SilencerCo Omega 9K to the Kuna ?

if it has a 1/2x28tpi threaded barrel, then remove the brake (if it has 1) and either use a direct threaded type or whichever mount needed

So, looking at the instruction manual again it looks like I will need the muzzle device in order to create the 3 lug pattern and then the 3 lug mount as well in order for it all to work. Good thing it was only $649 because I'm about to spend another $200 in accessories. I thought "direct threading" meant you could just screw the thing on. Boy was I wrong. Lol !

You can buy the 1/2-28 direct thread for $85
The Alpha Direct is the one it comes with and it is too wide for the threads too even meet. IDK, I could try again I guess.

Current mount doesn’t fit because the suppressor comes with a 5/8x24 direct thread mount. That’s usually for .30 cal barrels. You need the 1/2x28 direct thread mount. They can be had for cheap. If you go with tri-lug, you’ll need a tri-lug muzzle device and a tri-lug adapter on the suppressor. More expensive and I’ve found the tri-lug adapters are hard to find right now for 9mm.

Thanks for all the answers guys. I finally figured it all out. I found the Alpha Direct thread mount at a local shop for $89 (the1/2×28 thread) and got her all mounted up. I also have the tri lug muzzle device and mount on order from Scheels but if I decide against that set up, I'll just return it and save $216.

I just don't understand why SilencerCo doesn't ship the right adapter with it in the first place. It's called "The Omega "9" K", you would think it would ship with the mount for a 9mm barrel. I realize it can shoot 300 blackout, but that seems like the deviation, make people pay extra if they want that one.

Yep. It’s no longer a pistol, but a short barrel rifle regulated by the NFA with that vertical grip. Need to get an angled one if you want it to comply.

Agreed. Seems weird. Glad you got it set up. I just got my Kuna a couple weeks ago. Been using my Sig ModX9 that sits on my IWI Masada pistol for now. Just ordered an Otter Creek Labs Lithium 9 for it yesterday. I’m going to use the direct thread for it to start. Contemplating getting a tri-lug mount for it, but I’m undecided on it. It will be dedicated to this firearm, but I may be removing it to fit into a regular backpack on a regular basis. I’ve got to think about it some more.
