Yeah, that's not the one I have and I agree that's way to much money for me to spend on a knife sharpener. I bought mine several years ago and I believe the price I paid was $399 and looks like the one below and the case wasn't an option. One of the benefits about this sharpener is you really can't mess up the blade. I guarantee if someone gets one they will sharpen every knife in the house just because it works so well.

Good god, son !!! That brings tears to my eyes just thinkin' about it !!!With a lot of bull calves going into steers my dad and granddad were good at sharpening knives. Nothing worse than sawing off your nuts with a dull blade! Torching them might be worse
