Hellcat
This IWB holster from "Versacarry" is everything I've wanted in an IWB holster for a long time, and thought a few weeks ago I had finally found it. While on their site I saw that the original 'Comfort Flex' IWB holster was on sale and being closed out. I'm not real sure why it was being closed out but I thought ... Wow, how lucky I am to have caught the very holster I want on sale. So I proceed to pick all the related choices, including I thought 'Left Hand'. So me being a south paw got even more excited and placed my order quicker than I really should have.

So after waiting for about 4-5 days, I got word my holster had been delivered. I was so excited ... then I opened the package. And Oh damn, it ain't a left handed holster. I've seen this show before when they'll send a right handed holster just turned backwards. I'm so mad I swore to call "Versacarry" the next day and let them hear from me. Well by the time the next day came around I had discovered there had not been a left handed version offered. So how did I mess up like this? I still don't know but I did talk with one of the CS ladies at "Versacarry" and apologized for my rather short sighted phone message I had left the day before. She explained to me that they had never made a left handed holster if I understood her correctly and that since it had been a close out model she couldn't refund. I agreed with her completely ... it was my fault and mis-order.

Now I've told y'all all of this for one purpose. I'm still looking for an IWB, left handed holster just like this one at this link:

My computer skills leave a lot to be desired, why I still have a hard time just spelling 'IBM'. So for me to go searching is almost a non starter unless I had absolutely nothing else to do but pick and poke around a keyboard, get to a site, then lose that site and have to start all over ... well you get the picture.

Is there any one of you who can suggest a holster that compares with the one in the link for me to check out? It has to be small/compact, an IWB, preferably Kydex with a soft pad on the back side and must be left handed. Please, please if you know of one real similar, pass it on to me and I'll be eternally grateful. No, I'm not lazy, just computer illiterate. Thanks for any help. jj

Dog-on guys/gals, did I ask for too much? I'm not so lazy as to not do this myself, but was simply hoping for a little help. I've acknowledged several times my computer skills leave much to be desired ... I'm slow when computing, I'm forgetful when computing, I'm easily confused and/or distracted when computing, and I still can't spell "IBM". Many of you have lots more experience than me with guns, so my guess was that would apply to holsters as well. Was simply hoping somebody had one very similar to what I'm looking for, or maybe knew another brand that had one very similar. jj

I assume the sticking point is the felt/ material on the body side of the holster ?

I’m not familiar with any holsters like that, though I’m sure they’re out there from people other than VC. Funny to be called VersaCarry and not offer any left handed holsters 🤪

Other than the material on the body side it looks like most other IWB holsters. My preference is Muddy River Tactical.

If memory serves Clinger Holsters sells pads that you could likely attach to one side of any holster. It may be better anyway to be able to replace that pad when it starts getting gross.

Versa Carry holsters are all I use now, really like them a lot.

This is the model I use, I think there good holsters, even though a member on here stated he wouldn’t let his dog chew on it, but it is what it is, I’m satisfied with them

Joe, check with Muddy River Tactical. Nice folks and they may be able to help you out.

Thanks to all again, and the cushion is not the issue. I'm a southpaw and left handed IWB holsters seem almost impossible to find except than when you do find one it's simply a right handed holster just turned around backwards, mostly in the Kydex holsters. I found a perfect (for me) holster at "VersaCarry" and ordered it thinking/mistaking somehow it was a left hander. Nope! The model was the "Comfort Flex Custom" and I really loved it except it won't work for a southpaw. So I asked here if anyone knew of a left handed, IWB, Kydex holster similar to the Comfort Flex model. I've been led to a couple that are close, but I already have a box full of 'close' ones and was hoping someone had the answer. But this appears to be the story of my life ... "Day late and a dollar short". But I'll keep looking/hoping. Thanks again! BTW, the gun in use is my favorite little pistol ... the "SA Hellcat OSP". jj
