Hunting

The linked article sort of goes along in the same vein as the new Florida law about animal cruelty, only aimed towards wild versus domesticated animals. One day, hopefully not in my lifetime, hunters may become extinct. Long live veganism (not!)!

As long as there are "country boys" there will always be hunters. It's in our DNA.

Got to admit never considered chasing a terrified creature with a pack of dogs until it cannot run any more just to be mauled to death hunting.

Just me...
Only dogs I’ve ever used were pointers and retrievers. Other critters it’s been just my and the gun (or bow). I switched to traditional muzzleloaders >30 years ago. Modern scoped rifles (to me anyway) take the challenge out of the hunt. I’m going to eat if I score or not, so I. Hunt for the challenge.

The law the thread is about is banning fox hunting with dogs, hence my comment.
