I built an ammo price tracker (with trends)

I run a small gun site for ballistics testing and reviews, and got sick of opening a dozen store tabs every time I needed 9mm. So I built a price tracker. It checks a bunch of the big online stores every 3 hours and sorts every box by price per round. Hopefully, this tool will be useful to at least one person here. :) (I'm sorry if this happens to be the wrong section!)

"Why not just use AmmoSeek?"
AmmoSeek is a great resource. If you're hunting a flash sale in the first ten minutes, use it. But pull up their 9mm page on a computer and you get a massive table, with well over 100 rows, and ads galore. I wanted something that was easy on the eyes that I could check in ten seconds and close.

Features:

- No ads. Not one on the tracker pages.

- The answer is at the top. Each caliber page opens with the cheapest box right now, its price per round, and where to buy it. The full list sits underneath if you want to dig into different brands or round counts.

- Prices with context. Every caliber page has a chart of the lowest price per round, day by day. Every individual load gets its own small chart showing its average price and today's price. You can tell at a glance whether a "sale" is actually lower or the same price it's been all month.

- Alerts without an account. Pick a price, enter your email, done.

- Reputable merchants. I only include reputable, honest merchants. No amount of money would be accepted to add sketchy companies.

Coming soon (I'm very excited for this): a buy-or-wait call for each caliber, telling you whether today's price is low or high compared to normal. I'm not turning that on until there's enough price history behind it to mean something, which is about 30 days per caliber. The first ones should go live around Nov 27, which lines up with Black Friday, so you can check whether the "deals" are actually lower.

The rest:
- 57 calibers (handgun, rifle, shotgun, rimfire), split by type like FMJ, JHP, subsonic and birdshot

- Every box listed cheapest per round first, with the round count and store, so a 20 rd box and a 1,000 rd case get compared on the same terms

- Reloading components get filtered out. Early on, the "cheapest 9mm" kept turning out to be a bag of bullets with no cases, so that stuff should be getting dropped now. I may add a reloading section in the future.

- Tracking started Oct 28, so the charts are short for now. They fill in a little more every day :)

Since it's my site, for complete transparency: the buy links are affiliate links, so the store pays me a small cut (usually about 5%) if you buy through one. It doesn't change your price, and the list is sorted by price per round and nothing else.

It's new and I'm still fixing stuff. If you spot a wrong listing, a load in the wrong category, or a store I should add, let me know! Every listing also has an "Out of stock?" link if something's sold out. I try to moderate this multiple times per day, but if two users indicate this, it's automatically removed... Just in case I miss it.

I hope this helps somebody -- y'all stay safe out there!
