In the eye of the storm

We're fans of "In the eye of the storm" on tv, but never thought we'd be in the path of a tornado ourselves. Much of northern AZ is under a tornado, high winds, heavy rain and large size hail storm warning. Tornadoes formed around flagstaff and remote towns (Dewey-humbolt) southeast of Prescott. The warning/watch is primarily for Coconino and Yavapai counties. No reports of damage so far. Metro Phoenix is seeing storm damage according to weather reports. This isn't normal, we've got our go bags packed.

Been here since '68, Southern Arizona, and we typically get maybe 3 cat 1 tornadoes a year. Mostly folks are thinking they're just bad dust devils. Last time we had damage down this way, I think was about '66, out on the rez.

Last time we had bad weather in October was '83, when water took several bldgs that were too close to the river beds. If you want, YouTube has video of the Tucson and AZ flooding.
