Indiana man accused of killing house cleaner charged

i don't "see" where her being here illegally, wipes clean the charges against the guy.

but i am certain his lawyer will play that angle, to save his client.
As far as the homeowners attorney, he has a lot of respect from us in Indiana and he was one of the folks to make the Indjana Self Defense Immunity Law get signed into law. That said several of us are sort of suprised he took the case.

From hearing his weekly radio show (and seeing what limited statements he has made) it seems to me anyway he is working the one little word “prevent” in the Castile doctrine AND the Graham vs Connor case where facts learned afterward can’t be used against a reasonable persons beliefs.
On his show last Saturday he generically related to that aomeone doesn’t have to be “ight” to be “legal” like this isn’t a traffic stop where someone pulled out a toy gun and pointed it at LE. But I have Ben in court enough to know how it goes.

And he also touched on vaguely but had to be including the Indiana Gun Owners thread about those making comments

While some comments and folks are cringeworthy and downright show absolutely zero intelligence, some think no charges because of inmigration status to they were in the front porch……however some of us can voice a negative yet intelligent opinion of the homeowners actions as we have zero skin in the game, and won’t get picked for the jury. (I get dismissed when they see I am retired Federal and current county LE)

I get the accused is allowed legal representation and due process. However, My issue with this case and I have been investigated and mirandized on use of force stuff as well as investigated incidents myself is a few of the following.

1 Police state no signs of forced entry,

2 there were at least 2 people outside the house so even if there was one forcefully trying to get into the house he had zero clue who it was and with no view of then blindly shootjng did he hit the right one?????

3 again even if they were on the door pretty much shaking the heck how long did the do it and were they stopped by the time to took to retrieve the firearm load it etc.

Like I have said many times you shoot someone the Police show up it’s investigated as a homicide or attempted homicide and it takes time (usually) to see if you fall under subsection A,b or c that makes it justified.
