First time user here but an advent buyer of Springfield firearms. My most recent purchase was a Springfield 911 9mm which I received yesterday. Now I've heard that the 911 380/9mm and Sig238/938 mags are interchangeable, however what about mags from the Kimber Micro 380/9mm? I like the 8 round mags from Kimber for the Micro and I wanted to know if they would run in the Springfield 911, some one let me know, your info will be greatly appreciated.

I know that the Kimber mags work in a .380 Sig 238, but the Sig mags won’t work in a Kimber unless you lightly shave down the base...so I would suspect that a 911 would be similar; it will either work right out of the box, or may require slight modification.
