When I'm in public people don't approach me and people don't talk to me and I'm completely okay with that.
But this isn't what I would call in public. I guarantee you we were the only two people within a half a mile where we were standing.
He was out feeding/Watering his cattle and the Donkey, I was out walking my fence line which I do everyday. We just happened to meet up at that corner of each of our sections. I think it would be normal for any two people in that situation to at least say "Hi" especially given we are "neighbors".
People usually assume I'm ex-military but there are five military installations in Colorado Springs so you can throw a rock and hit somebody who used to be in the military or currently is.
I also want to clarify I'm not just talking about this one incident that happened in my "backyard"
It happened when I was working as a security guard. A lot of my coworkers felt the need to inform me that they were carrying a gun on site. Some of the ones who informed me of that I was their supervisor and obligated to report them for it (not that I ever did).
When the security guard in Florida showed me his shotgun in the backseat of his car I was delivering pizzas for Domino's I don't even think I owned a gun at the time.
So I can't say that those people recognize me as a "kindred spirit".
The one girl that I was working at with at FedEx that was like the first real conversation we had. I came up to her car to pick up the phone and get the inbrief before she left and instead of handing me the phone she handed me her gun.
And without getting too far into it I'm not sure what the proper terminology is but she was physically a female she looked like a female I can't say that she dressed like a female because she dressed in an Allied uniform just like mine. For all intents and purposes, she was a female but she introduced herself to people as a guy.
I said all that to say that she was not showing me her guns to "flirt" with me.
I think God just puts these people in my life to build my character
