Is There A Major Ammo Shortage Coming?

Probably the only DMF article I have issues with.

It reads like it was written last year with suggestions on what one would do in 2024.

Well, we're 8 months into 2024.

and the days of cheap mil-surplus went away pre-Covid.

Other than the blip when DJT was shot I don't see any shortages in my area, but that could change depending on what happens in early Nov.

My .02

I see lots of ammo on the shelves but the prices are against my grain. I buy what I need to stay qualified with some reserve but am not shooting 10% of what I was shooting in 2020. We are being fleeced from so many angles, it is depressing.
I’ve spent the last 5 years making sure I could weather any ammo shortage without reduction of current shooting habits.

It’s a little embarrassing. 🤪

Gazing into my Crystel ball, headline in Firearmsnews.com 4 months from now "Ammon shortage cause by stockpiling and hoarding"
This is becoming a very unpleasant game. Shortages of T.P., paper towels, cat food, baby formular, ammo, beef, eggs, etc., one right after the next. Welcome to the "new normal" and the "fundamental change in America".:mad:🤬🤬
