I agree. I may still renew my cc just for this very reason. This depends on my and my wife's travels in the future.

It's a consideration. I gotta say though the last two or three over the road vacation trips I took it made no difference. I made it from STL to Henry's Fork Idaho and it didn't make any difference. I went to Nashville and I was covered. I went to Donna Texas and never had a worry. Most of the states that are in my "Sphere of influence" are free states. And the states that aren't, aren't places I want to go to so.......

If my state would enact the no waiting for BGC for permit holders I would get mine again.
