Wow, and it hasn't even been below 40° most days here in Northern Nevada.
I think we had one day where it was 36° but warmed up into the 70's

PROBABLY ALL THE HOT AIR FROM NEWSOME IS KEEPING IT WARM ACROSS THE STATE LINE

As a 30 year motorcyclist, now that I have retired from Motorcycles it makes my heaterless, windowless, topless roadster seem toasty by comparison. It won't get put up for the winter until there is salt on the roads here in Central Missouri.

At least there, you can drive up to the mountains and visit the snow. Then just leave it there when you go home. I'll be shoveling that stuff out of my driveway soon. But I really don't mind.

We've had little tiny snowstorms around here all day, barely enough to stick to the ground in spots. It will be a balmy 22° tonight. It's just a little taste of the coming winter. At least on this side of the lake we don't get any lake effect snow. That can really be brutal. Stay warm.

It’s not so mountainous here in the north central Illinois. Oddly enough it’s almost flat but have rolling hills. I’m about 100 miles from Chicago along I-80 (heading west to the quad cities).
