I'VE READ IT BEFORE

Boudreaux & Thibodeaux went fishing in the basin the other day. They rented a boat at the landing and had a fantastic day of fishing, catching a boat-load.
Boudreaux tells Thibodeaux, "Man, we goin' to have to remember dis spot for da next time mon ami."
Thibodeaux says, "Mais dat's no problem. Let's mark da spot."
Boudreaux asks him how he's going to do that. Thibodeaux says, "Mais, like I said, dat's no problem" and leans over the side of the boat and marks a big "X" right on the bottom of the boat with a piece of chalk.
Boudreaux tells him, "Mais, you couyon, dat's not gonna help! How you know we goin' to get da same boat next time?"
I love Cajun jokes, having lived among ‘em a little while.

I’ll agree there! Before I lived in south Louisiana, I didn’t like spicy food at all. I had to learn to like it or I might’ve starved, but I’m glad I did. It’s the saving grace of my otherwise bad experience working there.

A few years ago, we took a family trip from Indiana to Texas. When we left, I deviated plans a LOT and came back through Lafayette LA just to have a meal there.

I had my spicy and hot (spice wise) start when I was 7. Tabasco at 1st then by 10 it was jalapeños. My 1st real Cajun food experience was at 13 while in Louisiana (Lake Charles to be exact). I got the hottest meal they had and added more on top. Waitress couldn't believe i could eat something that hot/spicy. My FIL (Mexican )told me (white person) "you're more Mexican than I am". His exact words. I guess I'm more whatever from that country than whichever they're from person. Ghost peppers, habaneros, chili pequin and you name it i love to eat. Not a fan of fresh hobonero as to me it taste like candle wax.

WIsh I knew why he was banned, I akways miss the good stuff

It was when Charlie Kirk was murdered. A lot of threads and posts were deleted over the matter. Long story short, he ran his mouth over and over, and was rightfully banned (in my opinion). He probably was the most knowledgeable person on this forum about firearms, but he was also a very left leaning.
I will disagree on Han’s being the most knowledgeable member here, he was a know it all and let his mouth get his butt into trouble here, the one I miss is Bassbob, he was a good guy.

My son is very dark skinned and has thick black hair. They ask him at one of our local Mexican restaurants if he was Mexican he told them no Cherokee Indian. It funny there was 7 of us kids mom was 1/2 Cherokee dad was also but I don’t know how much. 5 of the kids had thick black hair high cheek bones. Me the baby (youngest) and one of my brothers ( middle child) had blonde hair blue eyes. Ok finished chasing that rabbit. I like spicy food but my son love it the hotter the better. I used to eat the hot meat skins they were fairly hot. He was 2 years old he would eat them shake his head ask for more.
I’m at work and bored so that’s why the long post.

I was no fan of Hans, and it doesn't bother me a bit he was kicked off. Agree with you about him running his mouth, and maybe I should re-word the thing about the most knowledgeable one on here about firearms. But he did know a lot about firearms. That's what I found so strange, how an extreme lefty like him was so into firearms.
