It would work out well for me. I have 5 MXR Distortion + pedals of varying vintages.I wish I had a gun for every guitar, pickup, amp, effects pedal, etc that I've bought. Oh, what a minute, I think I got that round the wrong way.
And don’t get me started on amps, guitars, basses, mixing consoles, cabs, subs, mics, tops, monitors, etc. etc.
