I listen to a lot of audio books while I'm working and came across a book called The American rifle by Alexander Rose. That was an amazing book about the American rifleman and the evolution of the primary service rifle for the military.

The current book I'm listening to is about John Moses Browning and the effect he had on the firearms industry and now I understand why so many people think of him as the greatest firearms engineer in the world.
Anyone else a fan or does anyone have a different favorite?

I'll likely finish it tomorrow but I'm on chapter 10 and the focus is the Great War.
If you haven't read "American Rifle" get it! It's a fantastic book!
