Join the navy, now upset you are on a ship

"Just sign up for two years." The Recruiter said. "You'll be a RAU, Regular Army Unassigned. You'll get treated a lot better than the Draftees." "And you can request your Job!" The Draftees just get put in the Infantry." I got treated like **** like everybody else and my MOS was Light Weapons Infantry. That lying no good............
yup..."if you start before the end of the month, we are getting ALL brand new trucks...you WILL BE sitting in one".......

"gimme the older trucks, with the dents, and scratches instead.....that way, you don't railroad me after that FIRST" scratch...!!

The conditions may not have been optimal, but that's no reason to **** and moan over them. It won't last forever, and it will be a true "sea story" you can repeat with pride for the rest of your life. This is how "old salts" reveal who they are, and what they're made from.

Fair winds, and following seas.

I wouldn't trade my time on either float for anything, even as bad as the second one was.

My complaints came after we got home.

Such is deployed life.........

Grow a pair and deal with it.....
