The 5 years (would actually be 60 months as Feds so months) and the fact it was non violent and under a 10 year limit would more than likely qualify the Judge for a Camo aka club Fed.

They could throw a management variable in her and FCI Sandstone Minnesota FCI Waseca Wisconsin ate both Low Security with a fence would probably be possible UNLESS there is a relation (personal or she was a lay attorney/Judge on staff member) with staff they can place her somewhere else.

This is presuming she gets any confinement at all

I seriously doubt she'll get more than a slap on the wrist. Probably be back on the bench soon too.
It’s the Feds so she will get something and if sentenced to confinement she will have to serve 85% either at a Conp or behind a fence. So say she gets the full 5 years about 4 before any halfway house or supervised release before any probation time after.

That said most states to include Minnesota once convicted of a felony in state or Federal court you are removed.

Not sure what the legal recourse is if there even is any but I highly doubt she will be able to be reinstated

It would be much more sketchy if it was a state court since she was a state judge in which case charges would not have been filed or been like ServPro “like it never happened”

all i know is that she gave up a lifetime job, money and huge retirement pension, all for an illegal.

some people that "have it made", like athletes, as 1 other example, have blown thier careers good-bye, for very stupid reasons.

What we need to do is get some of those federal judges in the 9th circuit, that don't follow the law/constitution, but put their own spin/options on things.. Yeah I'm in a highly regulated state that loves the 9th circuit as they always give them what they want over the law..

WOW! Look, look all the little devils are having a snowball fight. If I didn't say "not a snowballs chance in hell of anything coming of this, then I wasn't paying attention. Nice to be wrong. Even if nothing else happens she is off the bench and likely can't practice law anymore and that's a win. Not as much as I like but I'll take any win I can get. Now we just need to pray that some appellate court doesn't vacate the conviction. Appeal in 3...2...1... "oh, ye off little faith" yup that's me.

Hannah the bandanna gets found guilty. Like others, I'll be surprised if she serves time. Clearly a two tiered system we have. Judges/lawyers/politicians should not be above the law. Are they not always telling us that? Prove it - put her rather large behind in the brig and shut the door.

That would be Waseca, Minnesota. Herterville if you will!
