In the past few months, Virginia has quickly become a battleground state in the back-and-forth scrapping over firearms rights.

One of the state government’s most recent moves, the reinstatement of universal background checks for firearms sales, has been opposed by Lynchburg Circuit Judge Patrick Yeatts, who ordered state police to stop performing background checks on private sales.

My Latin sucks, but I'm thinking they'll need a new flag.....
Well I doubt most have any idea what language it IS, let alone what it means OR its historical use. I dont think its too far to say, we got here because of a failure of public education. Heck it wasnt all that long ago that kids were taught Latin in school as a way to better understand English. Of course they also taught cursive writing. Show a kid the original Declaration of Independence or Constitution, or Bill of Rights and they couldnt read it anymore then they could read Egyptian Hieroglyphs.
