yup, today
in my state
no more "assault rifles" can be sold.
last year, our incompetent, cannot lead, follows what others say, and cannot think for himself, Blue State guvnah
signed the bill forbidding "assault weapons", (and i have to check on this and get back later, as i am taking a "cool down break")......semi-automatic shotguns..as well.....??
all to keep this weapons of mass destruction off the streets.
and yet, the criminals WILL STILL GET THEM, from other states, come here, start thier bullsheeit, and run back home to mommy.
supposedly, the supreme court IS going to make "some sort of ruling"...?
when they return in october.
yeah........ok....i'm still waiting on the 10 round mag limits here as well...going on i think, 5 years now...???

Rhode Island's assault weapons ban prohibits the manufacture, sale, purchase, and transfer of certain semi-automatic firearms and shotguns. Critically, the law is a ban on sales and does not prohibit the ongoing possession of these firearms by individuals who lawfully owned them prior to the law taking effect
