Keeping track

I am terrible at this I don’t even add the serial numbers but I do have them logged on my phone notes that’s it
I just keep all my receipts together in one place and I take pictures also

Police to @Belt Fed :

“You want to declare your Hi-Point collection was stolen?”

Yep, sure do

“Here’s $100, it’s not worth my time to write up a report. They wont function in a crime anyway”😉

I can’t help but wonder if @Belt Fed keeps a thorough comprehensive list of information on his chain saws.
I bet he has more chain saws than guns… and thats saying something !!!
Eh don't keep no record of them, don't have many as i used to. got rid of a few and used two for target practice. The only ones i use now are the stihls, still have three or four antique saws, but will be a while for i can use one. gots to have orthoscopic surgery next month.

Hi,

Cool idea. I have the original paperwork and receipts for my firearms in a file cabinet. I like the idea of pictures, descriptions, and serial numbers all together. I can keep a physical copy, a digital copy (encrypted?) on my computer, and backup records in secure cloud storage.

If you need a free (open source) office suite, I recommend LibreOffice.

Thank you for your Indulgence,

BassCliff
