there was no big knotholeLooks like a tree trunk with a big knothole , behind the other trees.

i know it was the light refracting off swamp gas, but it still freaked me out
much like the time we got down there a bit after 3am
it was supposed to be 50 but it started sleeting and got cold as well diggers boats
so mrs boatr and i sat in the expedition and waited for sun up
no moon etc
after a few minutes all the interior stuff shut down and it got DARK DARK DARK so dark your eyes invented stuff, like the pine trees moving towards the vehicle,
we are talking void of all light
my wife was just sitting there very quiet, and every now and then ask what was that
it was creeeeeeepppppppy
so as a good person i clicked the lock and locked the doors before i said I AM LOCKING the door
she about beat me to death when locks went thunk
then around 450 ish, we were waiting to see if we could hear the feeder go off, 5am rolled up, 5: 10 etc no noise
around 6
the sun is just starting to warm the trees and little glimmers of light are falling in behind us
but still dark enough we need flashlights
my wife is scanning the woods with the green light and all the sudden says WT heck is that, a wolf or a bear or what
it was a GREY big giant hogzilla , tearing up the feeder, ripped the spinning thing off
big guy,
my rifle was behind me in the rear seat in its case all warm and i could not reach it,
so brains here slowly opens the door to get out and grab it... that guy took off like a bullet. i think he knocked down trees
he destroyed the feeder box and battery
needless to say we left a bit later...
i had never seen a grey hog and never one that made shaq look small

Well, they didnt come out to play this week end when I was there. They are around though. 
Ending up dropping a big boar at night. Shot him and he ran a few yards and died in a thicket. Muddy and dense. Left him there. Wasnt going to get all scraped up messing with that.

At least we know THEY taste like pork, still not sure about BigFootWell, they didnt come out to play this week end when I was there. They are around though.
