Thats not a bad price, but that pistol is not a Series 70 and has a swartz safety. For that reason I would look at a Springfield Garrison in stainless. Or a Ronin in .45.

Agree, that Swartz safety makes Kimber’s a little rough to tear down and put back together, you can’t touch the grip safety period during it or you’ll lock up gun

i was looking at a few 1911 SA from the sale flyer they sent me in email
this caught my eye as a kimber under a 1k .
i love or really like my SA 1911s and my old colt 1911

Kimbers look pretty good but the swartz safeties have always turned me off.
