Kuna: The Ultimate Truck Gun?

I have to admit, the whole idea of a "truck gun" escapes me. If trouble starts when you are in your vehicle, you are driving your weapon. Shooting from a moving vehicle while driving is a silly concept. We tried it on the farm with a Jeep CJ 5 with the windshield folded down and it is a non-starter. Your passenger can shoot with decent results I will give you that. But the driver should be getting out of the situation, and not fishing around for a "truck gun". It is obvious to the most casual observer that the odds of needing a "truck gun" are stacked against you. The odds of getting it stolen out of your truck are astronomically favored towards the bad guy. Who needs a gun store or a gun show when parking lots are full of "truck guns" for free?

Folks that don't live in the rural West may not understand the concept of a truck gun.

And those in the rural West would/will choose something more suitable for their conditions since the Kuna really doesn't fit well.

Well, there is that. I could see a 22-250 with a scope out West for coyotes and the like. Gangsters probably would leave that anyway. Friend of mine got his house broken into in broad daylight. Guns all in the vault except a Winchester 1300 riot gun by the bed. (no kids) Anyway, the thieves picked up the shotgun but didn't take it. They want guns they can hide apparently. He has an alarm now. And used to tease me for having one!
