Lamont "Sanford" dead.

remember the tv show, Sanford & son....????

He was also a Vietnam War veteran. He was a combat infantryman in the 4th Infantry Division. I never had the chance to ask my late father-in-law, who was also a combat infantry man in the 4th ID, if he had ever known him or even knew that they served in the same division at the same time. My father-in-law passed away 2 years ago from cancer attributed from agent orange.

Another good one goes home to be with our Lord and Savior. The late 60's into the mid 70's television was the best. Many of these series would be considered "hate speech" these days. What astounds me is if Blazing Saddles, or All In The Family was created today, my God I shudder to imagine what the backlash would look like! Yet near pornographic programs are perfectly acceptable and readily available all day long nowadays. I remember when the good programs were only allowed to air after children's bedtime and that is how the 8:00 PM hour became the start of what was called "prime time."

Our youth have no idea how personally devastating it feels to slowly lose a country you love.
