Left of Bang: How Marines Avoid Ambushes

Well written article. Sounds like common sense or Street smarts but, many "exist" in non-alert world....

Hello all, here is today's article posted on TheArmoryLife.com. It is titled “Left of Bang: How Marines Avoid Ambushes” and can be found at https://www.thearmorylife.com/left-of-bang/.

This is an excellent book, chock full of good information, especially if one is just a "regular Joe" who's led a "normal life" and hasn't had the "opportunity" to hone one's spidey senses. I "loaned" my copy to a firearms instructor following a post-class conversation and he never returned it.... I still have my Kindle copy, however.

The VA just says I'm "Hyper-Vigilant". I live in Condition Yellow, can't turn it off.
I understand that, I am the same after 25 years in law enforcement, so many people walk around with their head in the sand, up their a**, or somewhere and have no clue to anything going on around them and then wonder why that happened to them.

That's true, I am a retired "street cop", and just have the habit to look and access situations. I am going to download this book i am sure it has good ideas, you can always teach an old dog new tricks
I spent the $10 on Kindle to read it this summer. Always like different perspectives on the "topic."
