Athens, Italy, Spain also. Is it a case of monkey see monkey do, or is it a case of someone(S) pulling the strings? Either way I won't be surprised to see it happen here in the US. Sadly, I don't believe that our Gov. learned anything from our own "mostly peaceful protests" and it won't learn anything from France, more than how to surrender to the mob. Keep your powder dry.

Someone is pulling the strings AND they have figured out the US is shutting off the pipeline for our tax dollars via gov't agencies and Non-government Orgs. People may scoff at DOGE, but it revealed many of the pass throughs to both domestic and foreign actors. Hence, a global temper tantrum except in places like Italy where Georgia Meloni has come down hard on the adult middle schoolers.
