LGS gives FBI access to gun purchase records

Seems the classic example of a “fishing expedition”
Its NOT fishing, its investigating. NO ONE was hurt not even the people in the pictures AND again I ask would you have wanted the Feds to just ignore as possible way of identifying the suspect if it was your mother? At worse someone got interviewed and theyll have a story to retell at parties for years.

Well, that sheriff is a total idiot the way he is investigating it, saying things he shouldn’t be saying, I agree, Barney Fife……
How'bout the Sheriff appears to be an idiot, because we really dont know. I will admit he doesnt know how to deal with the media. Hes there for admin, not investigation. As long as he provides the necessary gear and support, let him look like an idiot to the media, instead of pulling an investigator from the case to talk to Sally Reporter

You guys don't really think that they don't know that you own guns do you?

I mean, if you live in a state that ever issued concealed handgun permits, even if they've gone constitutional carry, Your name's on the list.
Not the point. It’s fishing for something that they don’t even know what they’re looking for…

I couldn’t care less who knows I own guns, well, except for people who think they’re entitled to steal them from me. I do try to keep it as low key as possible.

Warrants are overrated. I'm for a exigent circumstances if they are or not, as well as mass-profiling. Blue leadership panders to the criminals of today. To be effective, LEOs must find ways to circumvent situations which present barriers between them and the protection of our citizens. Like it or don't, most all LEOs employ this to some degree. Without it, they would be remiss in their duties. Don't ask me how I know. ;)

I mean this as a respectful comment, so please receive it as such. Are you saying you want your 2A rights but you’re okay violating other’s various US Constitutional rights? Or, if not you specifically, with others having their Constitutional rights violated for expediency?

If 2A is an inalienable God given right, how are the others not?

No problem. IMO, there are gray areas. I believe that it is incumbent upon an LEO to make the best assessment of a situation he or she can. All too often, a liberal judge or magistrate will refuse to issue warrants due to political ideology. In that case, I feel it is the duty of the LEO to find an alternative methods of ensuring public safety.

Not sure if face value, or deadpan sarcasm ?
