Light strike with my EDC

It was Blazer Brass. I clean my guns every time I use them. Thank you for weighing in.

I have seen an issue or 2 with blazer brass. And by volume a Rangemaster Advance instructor class 20 of us running 1,000 rounds or so. More than a couple.

I would suggest trying some other brands for a 2/300 rounds then move to anither and see. If it’s a gun issue it will show up but I would place my bet it was just a bad primer companies make boo boos

Here is a couple years worth of bad rounds I found we shoot rotated duty ammo OR in this case these weren’t ever issued and at 5 years sitting in a vault they get shot up

Federal 115 JHP 9BP 1 round primer backwards 2 rounds no primer 1 round bullet loaded backwards making a 9mm wadcutter

Good luck

I’m a bit of a slippery fellow so too much lube could be an issue I’m creating for myself. I’ll look at the pistol and see if it’s a bit too wet. Thanks.
Just an FYI ... Blazer Brass is OK for range ammo but it does burn pretty dirty. Your guns usually need cleaning after a range trip with it. And if you run too much lube that will collect even more of the dirty burn. Just give it a good cleaning, especially in the striker channel, leave it a little dryer than your normal and then don't worry about it unless it becomes a problem.

Dirty burning ammo isn't really too much of a problem if it doesn't have all that lube to gum it up.

I wouldn't worry about a 1/600 LPS.
Nothing is perfect, even a Glock

That's why training is important.
We train all the time with dummy ammo to build memory of what to do when one happens. Just because a gun runs 1000, 2000 or more without a problem doesn't mean one will never happen .... It will
