The more I look at that 22 the more I want it. I just can't justify spending over a grand on a 22.

the 629 44mag i bought back in '84 came with wooden grips that made shooting not fun...........hogue changed that

A 44, sure... Put the walnuts on for show & tell, swap them out for Hogues on range day. But a 10mm isn't too bad for recoil, especially on an "N" frame. Recoil must be more like a 380 on that huge frame.

Those are some butt ugly grips. For comparison here is a Model 63 which is built on a J frame while the 617 is a K frame. I just might have to get a K frame to see which one I like the best!
