I’ve stuck with the tried and true “FBI load” from awhile back. I bought a case of these years ago and still have several boxes left. Back then you got a 50 round box for less than a 20 round box of self-defense ammo costs today.

Thanks. That Hornady ammo certainly has some "pop" to it even though it isn't +P. Paul Harrel did nice comparison of about six different loads ranging from range ammo, wadcutters, +P and these two I shot today. Very manageable to shoot from that short barrel and get back on target. I was shooting all 5 rounds rounds in the cylinder with each string only as fast I could get a sight picture. I was about 1 round per second. Not rapid fire by any means but fast enough for now. I need some more range time before I carry it. I also need a pocket holster and some dry training drawing from it. I am glad i got it rather than another semi-auto. I really enjoy shooting it.
