Local Dallas TV station, ABC WFAA Channel 8 has the forecast low for tonight/tomorrow morning listed as 3 different temps in 3 places in their weather page.
Pick one proper temp and get your 💩💩 straight!
F’ing morons !
Main page for Dallas says 25. Weather page for “daily” says 30 and the “by hour” forecast goes only to 35.
Which one is it ! 🙄🙄🙄🙄😡😡😡😡😡

Our local TV media are a mix of folk that can't get a job anywhere else, are just starting their careers so they're very green with a couple exceptions, or half-way decent, just want to live here but never up their game, or on the tail-end of their careers and start dreaming stuff up.

The weather folks on all three channels have gotten the weather wrong the last 5 days. I can do better by looking out the window.

I call the weekend/fill-in crews the "high schoolers" since they have horrible grammar, can't pronounce words, and just wing-it most of the time so they seem to still be in high school.

On channel brags about how many "likes" they get on FB, and often repeat the same "filler content" day after day. They're either lazy or incompetent.

All three channels have an unwritten agreement to say nothing that disparages the city operations so it's all sunshine & butterflies reports. And, related, none of them do a police report even though there's plenty of crap going on, other than what they can't avoid like murders.

Hi,

It may depend on which weather "service" you use. Depending on which resource I check, the high today could've been 16° or 11°. This time of year temps and forecasts can change several times a day. Could be less than 1" of snow. Could be 3-5 inches. We did make 11° today. Tomorrow's high? Maybe 3°. I'll have to put on a sweater. ;)

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

It’s all the same station on their own weather page, not 3 sources.
It’s ONE channel, WFAA Dallas

And the locals usually repeat the same stories as their national parent stations. In the evenings our format goes local-national-local at thirty minutes each. This amounts to 70 minutes of national drivel minus the 20 minutes of local pet stories, sports, and weather.

The weather people here have been pretty spot on lately. They go with the National Weather Service mostly. Seems like when they say the wind will pick up around noon...it does. Don't know how they know, but they seem pretty accurate most of the time. That's not to say they don't get it wrong once in a while, but for the most part they are reliable. The farmers around here rely on them heavily so they have to be close.
