Confirmed. It is an undergarment. They work best with button up shirts. Leave the top few buttons undone and you can easily reach in and grab the pistol. Loose old t-shirts work ok too.

I occasionally use an ankle holster for deep concealment, and like the BugBite at https://bugbiteholsters.com/. It works well for my Bersa Thunder 380.

I was going to strongly recommend the Renegade Cozy Partner, but I guess they are no more. The retention is heavy duty elastic. You don't have to unsnap it. You just pull through. Super well made, very secure and easy to draw fast once you get your pants clear. Wilderness Tactical Products makes a copy of it for $112. Yikes! Can't vouche for it, though.
I wouldn't recommend anything with a velcro strap over the top of the gun. It's just in the way of the draw. Try to find something with a thumb snap, or Renegade style around the back of the trigger guard. My two cents.
