Really like my MilSpec, though mine is stainless, yea they have MIM parts, doesn’t bother me, it’s a very solid performer
 
Good article, THANKS. I have them both myself in my collection. BUT to be more authentic I also have the Colt 1911 mil spec and the Colt civilian M16A2, (same one I carried in the Army but without the 3 round burst or auto of course.)

Both what I carried till those bastards made me surrender my .45 for a Berreta 92f 9mm. which I absolutely hated and refuse to own one now or ever. lol)

This article is one I've been waiting for years to read... I've had my milspec 1911 for over 7 years, and at some point I want to finish my quest for acquiring an M1A. Hot deals over the intervening years and expenses like moving to a new state have prevented me from saving up, but that's about to change!
