M1A loose Op Rod

Hi, I own a standard M1A and absolutely love it. But it feels like the Operating Rod is loose. Is there a way to fix this?

Return it to SAI for warranty work, or send it the Smith Enterprise so they can make it right.

What is your definition of loose?
A little play is okay, but popping off while firing is not okay.

I sent a video of it to Smith Enterprise Inc. They said to send it to them so they can fix it. I’ll update this post after we find out what exactly was causing the issue, and how they fixed it, if possible. It hasn’t popped off yet, but I don’t want to fire it again and risk that happening.
