I own two versions of both, and some of the stuff I've digested in this thread boggle my mind.......

The history of each type, obviously needs a looking into by some of you posting......

Well, I’m not a firearms historian nor do I care to be one, but I do know I like both

I'm six one, half dozen the other, and I've owned near a dozen FALs too

My US Army basic training rifle was the M14. My issue weapon in a stateside field artillery unit was an M14.
I was issued an M16A1 in Vietnam.
Today I own a 1992 M1A and have never had the desire for an AR of any persuasion. Just a personal choice.

BREAKING NEWS

Full scale production of the Gen II chassis stock commences Monday, October 13th.
You can have the chassis in any color you want, as long as it's BLACK... I hope to resume importing these before Christmas, and I have not set the retail price yet.

Note: The Gen II chassis stock itself is 6.0 ounces LIGHTER than the Gen I pictured here.

G3 or FAL or AR10?

I have current experience with the G3 and FAL, and formerly with the M1A. None with the AR10. No need for an AR10 at this time... my personal preference is a Yugo-made AK, my choice- because of ammo and parts availability in US- is a Colt AR15. My M1A was a very accurate rifle, good to 600 yards, reliable with anything I fed it. Really should have kept it but with so many other .308/7.62x51 rifles, I was made an offer I couldnt refuse ($$$ talks!).
