Made in America ain't cheap, but it is worth it if you can afford it.

our big multi-national companies serve the stock holders and cater to them...we are mere pions to them, and as such, get no respect, or the quality we deserve.
Well, good ? We should invest in them, too ?

We screwed ourselves gradually. It'll take longer to repair the damage. The longer we wait, the worse it'll get

Or just give up because we're consumers with choices who don't give a damn about our country ?

Yeah. Give up on America ? Why not ? I gots more important things to worry about ? My neighbor's lawn looks better than mine ?

Our future is Mandarin, so lets hurry up and get there ?

Sounds like you've surrendered. I remember when Americans were strong and fought back. Now we worry about mowing our lawn.

propaganda video most likely..i still ain't viewed it yet myself.......

thing too is, if an American product (long standing trade name) is built in another country...is it still an American product..?? of course it is.

so we still are supporting an American made product, but maybe of a better quality....than American built..????

that would still be in question however.
No, it is not. If it is made in another country, Japan for instance, it is a Japanese made product. It is not American made. It may be an American based company but that is all. So no, we are absolutely not supporting an American made product. Those in that video are American made. Rolls of steel arrive and product emerges at the end of the line. Made right here, in America.

Just like the Goldwings made in America for a couple of years. Honda was American

The profits were taxed in Japan, but it was American.

The Global Economy is great for the Globe, isn't it? America is just here for harvesting.

Our future would suck if people gave a damn. Instead, it'll just be short.

What's our excess national debt compared to their world output in China ? What ? We have excess debt and they don't. ?

Americans are so selfishly apathetic they think they should still be proud.

Gee, a post about lawn mowers, and already de-railed on the first page. Who would have thought?
Funny. I don't see "lawn mowers" in the thread title.

An 'anti-American-product thread de-railed into a lawn-mower' thread is more accurate, but people can't come out and admit to economic sabotage. I do it. We all do it.

And i don't have a lawn anymore. But i do have a seventy-year-old American push mower and it still works. The power source is embarrassingly noisy sometimes, though.

Sorry. I'm one of the few who try to be proud of the country we're watching go under-asia.

I don't really buy anything new from anywhere. Except guns and limited tech. I feel that these (guns) catastrophically failing may be bad for business and lead to a lot of suits (Sig....). I like technology, mostly. As long as I can get into it and theoretically turn off the spyware. Still trying to find out if that rotary dial cellphone is for sale.

Anyways. I like the old stuff better. I'm willing to spend more on it to get and fix it up. My newest vehicle is a 2007 and I'm trying to trade it or sell it to get something from 1972.

I would like to buy stuff made here in the USA, but there is virtually no quality control here anymore, especially in the firearms, S&W has none, Colt did step up there quality since CZ bought them out just sayin

To the neighbor who seems to think mowing the lawn without proper clothing is fine—this has already been reported to the HOA.
This is a residential community, not a private beach.
There are families here, including teenagers, and no one should be put in an uncomfortable position just looking out their window. It’s distracting, inappropriate, and completely avoidable.
It really shouldn’t take a complaint for basic consideration of others.
A little awareness and respect goes a long way in a shared neighborhood space.

Looks ok to me, nothing wrong with the way their dressed, I hate and would never move into any HOA area, I don’t believe in that crap, have to get permission to do anything to your house which you own, HOA is nothing but concealed form of communism period!
