I’m amazed that there are no small utility tractors for small ag operations still made in the USA. I was shopping in 03 and had done my homework. Local JD dealer made a big deal out of 5-50 hp tractors being “made in America, built in Augusta, Georgia”. I had just moved from Augusta-my next door neighbor had been a VP at John Deere there. I said “I hate to burst your bubble but NO tractors under 80 hp are made in America. Your JD’s are either Yanmar (Japan) or Granmar (Germany) depending on size. They arrive as KD kits in Augusta and the wheels are bolted on and fluids added”. He looked like he’d been slapped and stuttered/muttered. I wound up buying a Zetor (Czech)- also sold in Asia, South America, and Australia as “John Deere🙄
