A couple of questions again; this time about the magazine release lock.
one; On my Ronin ( an early Ronin Operator 5" ) the release lock is blued. On most photos I see they are stainless. Does this mean mine was changed in it's past or does it just reflect what was in the parts bin when it was assembled?
Two: I know it make no difference functionally but I see some with the slot oriented up and down (in line with the tab) like mine and others with the slot more horizontal ( in line with the end of the release) Do any of you have a preference? I kind of like the ones in line with the release long axis but don't have a problem when they are up and down like mine.
Most seem to be up & down but I am not really sure the makers make them all the same. I have seen photos of given brands with the slots both ways.
