Major FN Reflex XL Issue

No thanks! I do want my house to become a "junk yard" of broken firearms. This isn't the land of misfit firearms.
Well now... Mine isn't broken according to Smith. So what if the trigger locks up randomly, kind of like the opposite of a Sig P320 (Ooooh, I suddenly like my CSX more now. Weird.) Anyway. You wouldn't have a junk yard. The number of jalopys wouldn't change. Just the shapes. Plus my Reflex MRD could use a big brother.

I wouldn't want anyone from this forum to get hurt from this unsafe pos. I'll just chalk it up to experience and take the loss. Thanks for the offer. I just can't believe I have had issues with 2 guns in less than a week.
I’m betting the blown primer caused the issue. I have a regular Reflex that’s ate 1100+ rounds with nary a hiccup. Once it’s back home give it a chance with decent ammo. I’m betting it’ll run just fine. Mine is a manual safety model that has a very nice trigger. First one local shop got in. Owner said it’s the best trigger he’s ever seen on a plastic pistol.

Thats what we said when I was working at LGS. The first Reflex I purchased was always shooting left. Sent back to FN they said it was fine . Everybody that shot that gun was always hitting left. Got rid of it. When I saw the XL I figured they worked out the bugs. There is a few complaints about trigger. When it comes back i'll check it out but I will not keep the thing. I do not trust it for a carry gun. People can always knock the "G" gun brand but I have never had an issue with any of them. This is second issue with FN. I will not purchase the brand again. Have to have faith in the gun you carry.

I still prefer my Reflex over all of my "micro" compact pistols. I like it better than my G43x, my CSX.... Does LCP or LCP Max count?

As to not buying a brand. I won't buy Sig or their optics due to lack of faith. I must have a weak spot for Smith though because I think that they save lemons for me and I keep coming back. It all started with my issued 5906. Followed by my issued M&P9 1.0. Then it was my issued M&P9 Compact. Then I picked up a Model 36 Chiefs Special. Finally it was my CSX. Honestly the only two Smiths that have run right out of the box have been my beloved 5906TSW and 6906/6904 hybrid. Less than 50/50. I kick myself for selling a 3913. I got it in a trade, never shot it, sold it.

Maybe FN will give me an answer. It really has a very light trigger. Almost unsafe. All I know is I will not be firing any more of the Freedom Ammo until I get answers.
you weren't whistling Dixie about that trigger....being lite..!!!!

holy smokes Batman.

i was at the range this morning, and a guy that also goes there the same day as me, he has a FN Reflex as well

he let the RSO try it.....

then he let me try a couple of rounds..

that dang trigger is like, if you blow onto it...it'll shoot...!!!!!!!!

i'd hate to see (or hear) that thing shoot if it gets dropped...!!!!!!

he too has a Hellcat, but just does not like it, due to the short grip that i griped about, and the FN fits his small hand better.

Yeah, I would be afraid of shooting myself! Not even real good for a range gun. It's just another one that will sit in the box. Could you believe how light the trigger is? Should be outlawed

OMFG.....

when you said it was light.......i didn't realize HOW light it is......

yeah, for me, i'd like at the very least a 4-5 lbs trigger pull, like on any of my Glocks.....
