The Vortex viper is a good budget option or you can go with a Leupold Delta point if you have deep pockets.

I like that DeltaPoint Pro NV!

Auctions tend to be iffy things. You CAN get a good deal, but you can also easily overpay, especially at live auctions. 20+ years ago brother in law and I went to a live auctions. I was looking at an old Norton Commando (that quickly went 2k more than I was willing to give). We hung around and up came two Chinese SKS rifles. At that time local shops were selling them for $175-$200 a piece. Bidding started and I watched these climb to $360. The guy that won then took the second one for the Same price😳. He paid $720 for what could be bought all day long for $400 or less. BIL is looking at me and just shaking his head. Then the dude steps up to get his new toys and it is immediately apparent he has no clue about what he just bought.

I just purchased 2 Mini-14 mags from Buds gun shop online and I got 250 free bids to e-gunners penny auction. I logged into the site to see what this is about and I noticed that the bid clock keeps resetting to 14 seconds before it hits 5 seconds left on auctions that are ending. I've also checked out the regular auction site and noticed a lot of the guns have a current bid exceeding prices you can buy the gun for without the auction from Buds regular website.

The whole thing seems fishy to me.

What are your thoughts or experience with this site? Have you ever won an auction and got a bargain or was it a waste of time and money?
They have proxy bidders that run up the bids.
