Sell your robe and get a sword.

I mean, yeah but...

I think it's in the book of Luke I could be wrong but one of the gospels mentions that when they tried to arrest Jesus in Gethsemane, they asked which one of you is Jesus and he said "I AM" and the entire contingent of Roman soldiers fell out. If I remember right it happened twice.

The point being if Jesus didn't want to be arrested he wouldn't have been arrested.

Again, write a book or say nothing.

In chapter 13 of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, The Scripture makes it pretty clear that no one's going to take the mark by accident. Taking the Mark is going to be an informed decision to reject Jesus Christ and worship Satan. No one's going to do it by mistake.

That's also going to be pretty close to the midpoint of the tribulation. By that point (I'm not going to say this right I know I'm not) but anybody who is still deceived at that point is willfully deceived.

I'm also going to say this what I'm about to say is my opinion based on my understanding of the Bible I can't prove it by scripture.

First let me say that I believe that we are the generation that will see The Return of the Lord. I believe that some of the people that are reading this post are going to see The Tribulation.

Speaking generally of Christians who come to Christ during the tribulation, I don't believe that God is going to bring you as a Christian to a place where you have to decide to take The Mark or die and leave you.

If that's God's plan for your life then he will give you the strength to walk through it.

Still Writing a book or saying nothing.

Not sure where this goes on timeline but the book of Hebrews says that Christ appeared once at The End Of The Age to put away sin. The Bible tells you explicitly right there that God is fixing to wrap things up

Before I say anything else let me say that according to the Tom interpretation of scripture The End Times is the period of time between the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the Rapture of the church. The "Last Days" is the period between the Rapture of the church and Christ descending on the Mount of Olives.

First, according to Bible commentators who are a lot smarter than me (which is NOT a high bar) over two thirds of end times prophecies or last days prophecies specifically reference Israel as a country.

Israel as a nation, an actual country not a people, did not exist from right around 70 AD till May of 1948. So between 70 AD and 1948 2/3 of the biblical prophecies concerning the end times and the tribulation could not have happened.

Now they can. If nothing else convinces me that we are living in the End Times that does.

Now I'm going to talk about Left Behind.

I think the movies sucked but the books were pretty good and they were written with a lot of input from Bible scholars.

So in the very first Left Behind book The Rapture happens on like the second or third page. And regardless of whether or not your pre-trib or post trip or you believe in the Rapture or not that's where it's at in the Left Behind book.

In the very beginning of the book one of the main characters is reviewing the unprecedented events of the six months prior.

One of the things that he talks about is a shift to a Unified World Currency. When they wrote left behind the idea of digital currency was long in the future. The idea of electronic currency was almost SciFi.

Another thing that he talks about is Ezekiel 38. Russia turkey and Iran unifying and attack Israel. They are wiped out in such a manner that there is no question that it was divine intervention.

Somehow this opens the door for Israel to rebuild the Third Temple in Jerusalem.

Now I don't think it's going to play out exactly the way it said in a semi-fictional book based on scripture but if you see Russia Turkey and Iran attack Israel and Israel start to rebuild the Temple you better get ready

Hi Mr. @The Night Rider,

Escatology is my favorite field of Bible study. I'm not sure this is the place for it but I wanted to thank you for sharing your thoughts. I'm a "pre-trib" rapture believer. I hope it's pre-trib. I would rather skip the Tribulation, but it's gonna be glorious!

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

I tried to only talk about scripture when the topic of discussion warrants it. I think in this case it did. A lot of what I believe is from listening to a guy named David Guzik. His Church, Calvary Chapel Santa Barbara has a YouTube channel in which he has sermons covering every book in the Bible. A chapter at a time. I highly recommend it.

If you're familiar with the Blue Letter Bible he's also the guy that wrote a lot of the study notes that
