Didn’t get trough the whole tj in g did he touch on 300 grain bullets?
I know with the original micro groove Marlins the 300 grain were hard to stabilize. I believe the new marlins have traditional rifling .
I have. Amateur Marlin JM marked that is standard button riffling. I believe they changed that in the pistol calibers for cowboy action shooters and lead bullets required.
