Max weight for Saint Victor .308 rounds

Do any of you know if there is a max bullet weight for the Saint Victor in .308? I might let my brother use it when we go hunting this year.

It’s pretty hard to find a .308 heavier than 180gr unless you handload...

What’s the twist rate? Unless it’s super slow, I’d think 168-175 should work just fine...

It's 1:10. We're just going for white tail meaning a 150 will do just fine. He'd probably like to pick his own ammo, though.

I’d say definitely good to 165-168, no worries. I’ve found sometimes 175’s don’t shoot as well in my 1:10’s, accuracy-wise.
