You know I could see virtue in that IF the kids were all at grade level in English Math Science History, could write in cursive AND understood CIVICS.

If it were for the kids you would have your butts in the classroom actually Educating these kids. It’s all about Money and keeping and gaining more tax dollars for absolutely abysmal and shameful results.

Many teachers i know that taught for 10 years and more called it quits due to all the bs Texas throws at them! A lot of the bs is about the STAR test or whatever they call it now. IIRC it started back when bush #1 was governor (no child left behind). The whole program is good and wonderful for those who need the help, but the whole teaching is about passing the test and not learning. Many teachers told me they couldn't complain about it while they were teachers.
