Means of securing a shotgun to a walker

Have some adaptation of the gun mounts used in the gun carts used in 3-gun competition? Most of us adapted a mount meant for ATVs.

For Over Under I've seen a belt "J" hook, 1-2 inch flat aluminum, leather covered. Think I can find it now, NO. I'm thinking for moving you would likely want to secure both at the break and the barrel.
You may also try and look at various SASS gun carts. Some have seats. Mine is just an open box sized for the stock and an "U" for the barrel. "U" is fur lined, Beaver scrap, and barrel is held in place by a leather strap slotted for screws. Use fur to stop barrel polishing. Fuzzy velcro does not work. Shop Goodwill for a women's fur collar. Leather strap can be found at and farm store that sells horse tack. Punch a hole in the leather and slice where it fits the screw snug.

The locking mechanisms from the stands cops mount their shotguns to in the cruiser. They can be taken off the stand and attached to anything. I have one out in my shop screwed to a wall above one of my benches.

By the way, I will be using the locking mechanism from a shotgun rack that used to reside in the front seat of a St. Louis county police cruiser. It’s electronically locked/opened. It’s gonna be easily accessible but you’d have to be kneeling down to see it up on the roof deck of the trunk. It’s gonna be bad ***.

lol, wow! You used a .22 to shoot skeet??? One little bullet for one clay pigeon?! How did you do? Did you ever get 25 birds? That's amazing! A sling would work for the semi-auto, yes. (I'm still amazed at the .22! How far does a .22 bullet travel though?)
Not real well, after about 30 shots, I'd start getting about 2 out of 10, chipping them, by the end of the day I probably got 25. This was at a family farm, not a range, no one (or living animal) was injured. At least no one reported anything being shot. The .22 LR can go about 1.3 miles, in open areas, we never shot over the hill of heavy timber so, not really an issue.
