My thoughts exactly. In a perfect world, I'd pick one up in a heartbeat. Right now I can barely afford to feed my .223/5.56 AR's at $.50-$.60 per round. The cheapest 500 Auto Max I've found is $2.20 per round, with the most expensive being $3.30 per round. It looks like an awesome rifle, but its gonna be hard pass for me for now.

What surprised me is that they have a pistol version of this gun on the Big Horn website with a 10 inch barrel. I'm not positive, but I think I may have to include the cost of reconstructive shoulder surgery if I ever decide to go with the pistol version.
